Whitney Cummings Plastic Surgery Before and After

Whitney Cummings Plastic Surgery

Taking a Hit in Hollywood

With the recent cancellation of Whitney Cumming’s comedic talk show, the sometimes raunchy, foul-mouthed (yet forever hot) actress recently told Howard Stern she was obviously disappointed with NBC’s decision to give her show the boot, and on a personal note, even though she understands “things happen” and it was more “business than personal” her self-esteem, self-image and self-confidence definitely took a hit as well.

Comedy and Tragedy Meet

While the actress has always struggled with body image issues, the cancellation of the show added insult to injury, which leads to the questions as to whether she has had extensive work done since in order to enhance her personal worthiness in addition to add to her market value as a television star as well. Judging from the photos over the years, it appears Cumming’s has had work done, both plastic surgery as well as intense self-tanning and injectables like Botox and other fillers. Breast augmentation, facial reconstruction with both her cheeks and nose, combined with a shiny face void of all laugh lines leads us to believe Cumming’s, while a brilliant comedic actress, and isn’t laughing at all these days, which is sad.

Whitney Cummings Plastic Surgery Before & After

Beyond the Price tag of Plastic Surgery

Cummings obviously invests in herself in terms of living an otherwise healthy lifestyle, incorporating a nutritious diet with a regular exercise regimen (you don’t get gams or guns like that without some tough workouts in the gym!) it simply isn’t enough to satisfy her craving to be “picture perfect.” She has bought into the improving her “shelf life” theory many other Hollywood celebrities buy into when it comes to preserving their looks in hopes of prolonging their careers. But Hollywood can be a cold, hard place and what is most important is having the inner strength and confidence to combat the naysayers. Think Lauren Hutton’s tooth gap, Cindy Crawford’s prominent mole, and a host of other well-known celebrities who opted out of un natural for au natural. Hollywood will eat you alive if you don’t take a bite back in a cool, confident and manner which projects self-worth beyond the price of plastic surgery.

Beauty Goes Beyond the Outer Self

However, Cummings doesn’t, at this point, based on before and after photos and a montage of other photographs throughout the years, seem to believe enough in herself as is to prevent from going to extreme measures to preserve what she believes is her only chance at staying in the Hollywood game. One can only hope that, while on her journey for the next latest and greatest procedure to help improve her appearance, she takes time out to read the fine print of potential long term health risks involved with many of these types of surgeries and procedures. It would also be beneficial for her to make a stop along the way to a professional therapist so she can work on her self-esteem to realize that beauty goes beyond the outer self and starts from within. A cliché, but true.
