Zac Efron Nose Job Before and After

Has Zac Efron, the dreamy star of the High School Musical movies, had work done? According to numerous reports, the answer is a definite “yes.” While he’s never admitted it publicly, many people are convinced that the musical heartthrob underwent a nose job procedure several years ago.

The alleged procedure took place sometime after filming of High School Musical 2 wrapped but before production began on the Disney series’ third entry. Photos taken after the nose job supposedly shows Efron with a slightly narrower, less prominent nose.  It’s nothing terribly dramatic, to be sure, but there does seem to be a real, identifiable difference.

Prominent cosmetic surgeon Dr. Sherrell J. Aston agrees with this assessment. In a recent interview he stated that “After observing Zac Efron photos through the years, it seems to me that he has had nasal done. His tip cartilages appear smaller and the nasal bones have been narrowed. The job is done well, he looks handsome and the nose really fit to the rest of his face.”

Zac isn’t the only High School Musical alum to go under the knife. Ashley Tisdale, his blond and beautiful costar, has also had a nose job. Unlike Efron, however, she has been very vocal about her decision to have the work done.

Although she claims the procedure was not cosmetic and was performed solely to fix her deviated septum, many fans aren’t buying it. Her nose is visibly smaller and straighter post-procedure. So, while breathing difficulties may have been at the heart of her decision to get a nose job, it seems likely that altering her look was also part of her plan.

As for Efron, at the very least, fans can be happy he took a “less is more” approach to cosmetic surgery. While many would argue that his nose was just fine the way it was, his post-surgery look remains handsome and natural-looking.
